Easy Homemade Air Freshener

I like to be 'financially efficient'. No, I'm not cheap. I'm smart, and I value the money I work for.

And once upon a time I was broke. If you've ever spent any amount of your life broke too, you know a thing or two about how to be financially efficient.

Here's a quick, cheap, simple, effective and natural! 'recipe'

(for my fellow FINANCIAL EFFICIENCY EXPERTS):

10-15 drops of essential oil
1 Tbsp rubbing alcohol (or vodka)
1/3 cup of water

You can adjust the amounts to suit your personal taste (and whatever you choose to use it for). Here are a few of the ways we use it in our home:

Air freshener

(So handy to have a bottle right by our guinea pig cage, shoe closet, bathroom, in the car, in my purse, or by garbage pail)

Deodorizer for athletic equipment
Body mist
Fabric freshener
Calming spray for baby
Decongestant (Peppermint is fantastic for this!)
Coolant on hot summer days
Bug Spray (citronella oil)

but the list goes on and on.

Here's a product that's easy to make, minimizes cost (roughly .20/bottle), reduces waste, and best of all...
it WORKS!

You can find essential oils ready to order online, or source them from local whole foods markets, small businesses, even grocery stores, ranging in price from $5.00 (on average) and up.
